Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

OYSTEC_SelectiveLaserSintering-SLSIn the field of 3D printing, "sintering" is a rapid prototyping process in which the 3D models are printed with the help of a laser beam. The starting material is a fine layer of powder whose particles are melted together by the laser, thus bonding the powder layer by layer during the printing process. Selective laser sintering (SLS) is therefore used to produce spatial structures from a powdered starting material. It is possible to process various plastic-like materials such as elastomers or polyamides.
